2016 Student Journalist Award: Fancy a trip to Phoenix?

PhotographerRMIT student Bridget Davies won last year’s Melbourne Press Club Student Journalist of the Year Award for a story about the mental and emotional trauma experienced by female police officers (read it here).

Her prize was to join Young Journalist of the Year Tom Minear on a trip to the annual Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) conference in June in New Orleans.

(Watch a video of Bridget and Tom discussing their experiences at the IRE conference.)
